Inhabitation

Yesterday (Sunday), I went to see Marnie Orr's "Inhabitation", a performance in a forest in Kalamunda. Marnie is one of the inmates at the CIA asylum in Newcastle Street. It was very strange, pretty cool. Four performers basically doing a kind of semi-choreographed semi-improvised movement-based performance work (by which I of course mean site-based dance inquiry into body/place relations) involving different states of being.. exploring, working, resting, travelling, etc. I was glad I went.. not so much entertaining as thought provoking and full of groundbreaking performance concepts and moods etc. Also I met a lot of pretty cool creative people, some of whom I really hope to work with in the future.

In other news, the gears of the dastardly plot are gradually grinding on quite satisfactorily, and the minions are gathering in the shadows. Oops, that was a secret. Still, it's quite exciting.
